Do I Start?
- What is
the difference between Generic CD/R Media and Premium
CD/R Media?
- Premium media is more reflective
making it easier for the drive to read the disc. Generic
media may not reflect back as strongly, therefore,
the drive may take longer to read the disc.
- Can I
include copyrighted songs on my CD or DVD? How about
shareware or "unrestricted" software such
as Acrobat Reader"

- What is
definition of Turn Time? What is Day Zero?
- Turn time is the number
of manufacturing days at the replication plant (at
most plants, this is business days only). It does
not include the day the materials are received at
the plant, or the day the product is shipped. Day
zero is the day the master and artwork are received
at the plant (typically by noon).
- What is
the standard TurnTime for CD/R and CD-ROM?
- A CD/R project has a standard
Turn Time of 2-3 business days (this is usually for
smaller quantities and is done in-house). A CD-ROM
project has a standard Turn Time of 7-10 business
days (this is usually for larger runs and gets out-sourced
to one of our plants).
- How much
data does a Business Card CD (Biz Card) store?
- A standard CD/R Biz Card
holds 50 megabytes. A standard CD-ROM Biz Card holds
40 megabytes (however larger are available).
- Will
a Biz Card play on all players?
- No, Biz Cards can only be
played on tray style CD players, no pull-feed style
(car systems).
- Does Kopy-Rite
offer reseller pricing?
- Yes, we offer additional
discounts to customers who qualify. A simple application
has to be filled out to qualify.

of printing options does Kopy-Rite offer?
- The standard printing method
for replicated discs is silkscreening, but some plants
offer offset printing. Recordable discs have multiple
options depending on your requirements. Please refer

for a more detailed description.

format should I create/present my artwork?
- Artwork
is accepted in Vector or Bitmap based formats, however
vector is preferred. See our artwork
guidelines for additional information.
- What types
of payment options do you offer?
- Kopy-Rite accepts cash,
checks, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and we
offer credit to qualified customers.
