DISKETTES

Believe it or not, we still do'em!

KOPY-RITE first began copying diskettes in the mid 80's (8 inch disks, in fact!). In 1995 diskettes represented over 90% of our business. Today the industry has primarily shifted to CD-ROM and CD-R, but we still operate a full production line for disk duplication, labeling, collation, and packaging.

Media / Formats

KOPY-RITE can duplicate 3.5" diskettes in the common PC and Mac formats. We can also handle other formats (such as Unix, DEC, etc.), but additional formatting charges may apply. (We have equipment to duplicate 5.25" diskettes, however, we do not stock this media, and the order would be based on availability.)

We stock black 3.5" DS/HD diskettes. Other colors are available, but there may be minimum quantities depending on availability.

Labeling

Disk labels are printed on a custom stock using a pin-fed ink-jet printer. The standard color we offer is black, but color can be printed on the labels. However, for higher runs, or labels that require significant color coverage, these would need to be done as flexographic labels. We can then customize them by running the printed labels through the inkjet printer to add custom information. (This process is similar to the concept of creating your letterhead paper and then running it through your office laser printer).

Collation

Automated collation equipment allows KOPY-RITE to quickly and accurately assemble multiple disk sets into the proper order. They can then be banded or bagged.
